Fines on Render Ranch are fairly new, but due to a increase in cheating of the game they were deemed to be better than just deleting the cheaters, hopefully those who are caught cheating and fined will learn to play by the rules, as repeated violations will result in a closed account. As will a few other severe violations of the TOS, mostly attacks on another Rancher.
Swearing or otherwise verbally assaulting a fellow Render Rancher will result in immediate closure of your account, no warning will be given as we all should know better. If I feel like it I may send an Email to your Email address of record to let you know why your account was closed but don't depend on it.Some of the Render Ranch fines:
- RCs sent by any means from one account to another account owned by the same person, you will be fined for the actual amount transferred, possibly rounded up to the nearest 100.
- Animals gifted from one of your accounts to another is a 2,000 RC fine per animal, and the animal may be confiscated as well.
- Animals bought from one of your accounts to another (shilling) is 5,000 RC fined per animal plus possible confiscation of the animal.
- Posting of Video, Music, Site Link, Web address of unapproved web sites or Graphics which link back to an unapproved site (provided we have a way to remove the linking posted in the Wiki) will be fined at the rate of 10,000 RCs, multiple postings on a ranch page or message may be fined this for each link, video, etc.
- We are not limited to RCs as fines, depending on the severity of the offense we can and have confiscated Permits, Animals, Acres, and Tokens as well.
- Severe violations and repeat violations can get your ranch account closed without notice.
- The only limitation on fines is that we will only take 90% of your RCs at the most, at one time. As in real life we may issue multiple fines until what was owed is recovered.
We don't want to have to "punish" ranchers, but we cannot allow people to abuse other ranchers or cheat the game.
